PROGRESS REPORT (MID-TERM) GRADES 100 & 200 LEVEL COURSES

University policy states that students in 100 and 200 level courses must receive feedback on their progress in these courses before the mid-term in the semester. All faculty teaching 100 and 200-level courses are required to post mid-term grades to LEO Online by the beginning of the 5th week of classes. The individual student is the only person who has access to view this information through LEO Online. However, students may be contacted by a student success advisor in University College through email if their name appears on the list of those who are earning a grade below C to determine to best course of action for academic success.

Student Billing Using E-bills

Old Dominion University bills students as follows:

  • Notifications will be sent to your official ODU.EDU address issued to all admitted students.
  • E-mail accounts MUST be activated by the student.
  • Failure to activate or maintain your official e-mail account will NOT be a valid reason for
    failure to pay on time.
With ODU's Student Billing System, you can see your latest billing statements and make payments.
You can also authorize your parents, guardians, or employer to access your bill and set up stored
payment profiles. Complete information on the policy is available at the Office of Finance web site.
Questions should be addressed to your billing representative in the Office of Finance, or e-mail the

STUDENTS: ADD/DROP/WITHDRAW DATES
What's the difference between "drop" and "withdraw"?"Drop" means the course is removed from
your record, no grade is assigned and tuition is refunded. "Withdraw" means you canceled registration
in the course after the full refund (drop) deadline. In addition, withdrawal from a course will create an
entry on your transcript of the non-punitive grade "W." The grade "W" does not calculate in the GPA or hours earned.
